Evolving

It starts as the Cinder Whelp. Beat it 150 times and it evolves for good into the Cinder Brute; 600 times and it becomes the Cinder Titan. Each form is tougher, but worth more:

Rare odds rise with evolved forms, the Treasure Sense upgrade, Combat perks and some pets.

Champions

Every 12–18 kills, the next monster is a champion: 3× the health, 200% harder hits and a wind-up like a boss's, for 3 loot rolls, 4× the rare odds and 4× the gold.

Its baby

Now and then one you beat leaves its baby hiding under the rubble. Lift it gently and it's yours: the Cinder Brute. See Pets.
