Crafting quality
The seven qualities from Crude to Mythic, their bands, and the odds of each.
Every craft rolls its own quality, Crude to Mythic. Quality sets how high the piece's stats reach and what it's worth. Every quality has its own band of stats, so a better quality always beats a worse one: a perfect Fine never matches the worst Masterwork.

Mythic's weight is cut to 40% again when the odds are worked out: about 1 in 2,000 crafts is Legendary and about 1 in 100,000 Mythic to start.

What raises the odds
- Your level above the recipe's (up to 40 levels)
- The Master's Bench upgrade, crafting perks, the processing perks that feed the skill (Fine Ingots and friends), and guild ranks and perks
- Recipe mastery: 10 crafts, 50 crafts, 200 crafts for bronze, silver and gold
- The forge singing (1.5% a craft): that piece is a step better, and the next 3 crafts are inspired
Legendary and Mythic stay rare whatever you do; a great setup makes them less rare. A lucky step up can reach Legendary, never Mythic.
Mythics
A Mythic breaks out at the forge: it shakes, cracks and shatters, in a batch too. Each Mythic you wear adds 3% Damage, Accuracy and Defence (Mythic Resonance). Nobles, merchants and the King pay more for them.
