Silversteel Kite Shield

Smithing level 53 · 3.5s · 68 XP (69,943 XP/hour)

Salvaging a piece gives back half its materials (an odd one half the time).

By quality

Quality	Defense (main stat)	Worth
Crude	30–37	1,527
Standard	38–44	2,545
Fine	45–54	4,327
Exceptional	55–67	7,127
Masterwork	68–86	12,218
Legendary	87–134	22,909
Mythic	135–168	91,636

Each quality has its own band: the best Fine never matches the worst Masterwork. The top of a band is a PERFECT roll. Worth is a piece with a plain roll, before your perks and decor; a better roll and sets add to it.

Sets

Infuse the craft with a boss sigil and it comes out as a set piece instead:
