Crafting and batches
The slot-machine reveal, PERFECT rolls, batch card decks, mastery and the singing forge.
Smithing makes heavy armour, swords, shields and jewellery;
Leatherworking medium armour and bows;
Tailoring light armour, staves and capes. Pick a recipe, choose how many, and craft.
The reveal
Each piece rolls a quality and one stat per tier: Copper rolls one, Voidsteel all seven. The first is the piece's main stat (Damage on weapons and jewellery, Defence on armour). Watch each one spin up like a slot machine, in its own box, counting up from zero. Tap to skip.
PERFECT rolls
A stat that lands right at the top of its band is PERFECT: about 2% of rolls. It bursts on screen: a flash, a fountain of sparkles, gold motes rising and a PERFECT! stamp.
Batches
Craft several at once and the batch opens as a card deck, best piece first. Swipe each card to sell it, salvage it or keep it. There's Undo, and Salvage rest for everything left. Tools work the same way.
The workbench
The workbench is where you pick a boss sigil to infuse, so the craft comes out as a piece of that zone's set. See sets.
Recipe mastery
The recipes you make most become your speciality: each mastery star nudges that recipe's quality up.
| Star | Crafts | Quality push |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 10 | +0.15 |
| Silver | 50 | +0.35 |
| Gold | 200 | +0.6 |
The singing forge
Now and then (1.5% a craft) the forge sings: the piece comes out one quality higher and your next 3 crafts are inspired. It's a Game Center feat.
The Crafting Codex
The Codex keeps every piece and tool you've made, with the best quality of each and how many.
