Hire an apprentice to gather or process materials alongside you at half your pace. Level 2: they can work the same task as you, at 65%. Level 3: 75%.

Bought with gold in the Bank's Upgrades tab, under Workshop (your bench, your armory, your stores). A red dot shows when you can afford one.
